Authors
The people who write the journal. Each page lists that author’s essays.
Elise Tan
Principal lighting designer · Sydney, New South Wales
Elise specifies workplaces, education and civic interiors. She trained in architecture and now spends more time arguing about glare and maintenance access than about pendants.
Marcus Hale
Electrical contractor and specifier · Melbourne, Victoria
Marcus runs commercial fit-outs and retrofits from high-bays to DALI buses. He writes the essays that start with a switchboard and end with a logbook.
Priya Nair
Energy and sustainability editor · Brisbane, Queensland
Priya works on NABERS, Green Star and Section J lighting models. She is unsentimental about payback claims and fond of metering that actually records something.
Tom Brennan
Industrial and WHS correspondent · Perth, Western Australia
Tom comes from mining services and food plants. He writes about task lighting, emergency systems and the difference between a tidy render and a 2 a.m. forklift aisle.
