Legal
Privacy
We collect as little as we can and we do not sell reader lists. This notice is written for the Australian Privacy Principles in plain language.
Who we are
Commercial Lighting Editorial publishes this journal at www.commerciallighting.com.au. Questions about this notice go to support@worldwidebacklinks.com or the contact form.
What we collect
- Name, email, organisation and message if you write to the desk.
- Contributor biography and conflict notes if you pitch an essay.
- Ordinary server and hosting logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) kept by our host.
We do not require an account to read the journal. We do not run a marketing newsletter from this form.
Why we collect it
To answer you, to edit a contribution, to keep the site secure, and to meet any legal duty. Contact submissions are forwarded to support@worldwidebacklinks.com through our /api/contact route.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the contact form as a lead-gen list for lighting suppliers. We do not embed third-party advertising networks on article pages.
Cookies and analytics
Essential hosting cookies may be set by the platform. If we later add a privacy-respecting analytics tool we will name it here. Your browser still sends a user agent; that is not something we switch off.
Retention and access
Desk correspondence is kept only as long as the conversation needs it, then deleted from active inboxes on a routine clean. You can ask what we hold and ask us to correct or delete it, subject to any legal hold. Use the contact page.
Overseas disclosure
Our host and mail relay may process data on servers outside Australia. We choose vendors that publish a privacy notice and we do not send your message to advertisers.
